This photo does not capture the gale force winds that are sending the snow horizontally.

Please post more photos.
You never had to shovel photos!
Sorry, but I left that kind of weather up north in 1974. I don't miss snow plows blocking freshily shoveled driveways, nor all the salt on the road that eats away your car.
Yes, it does get hot down here in Florida, but it's a quick trip to the beach with the A/C on in the car.
Thanks for sharing.

Well.....
They are calling it a blizzard of 2"-5".......
I'll believe it when I see it ;)
It started out at about 50 F this morning and has been dropping ever since.
We had very little snow here last Winter. I think the kids and I only went sled riding about 2 times.....
I don't even remember doing any shoveling either quite honestly?
The weather has really changed around here from when I was a kid and remember having Christmas with a couple of feet of snow on the ground....
Global warming I tell you....
Either that or all you guys slot car motors are heating up the planet causing it!!!!

So that's what the white stuff is on the ground Harry? Snow? I thought maybe someone had ordered a big bag of flour to put on their track and run a Euro style rally. (will post an appropriate YouTube link when I fire up the computer rather than the phone)
But seriously. Christmas snow. How cool is that? (bad pun not intended)
Forecast today here is for a bright and sunny 26 C.

I :romance-heartsthree: :romance-lovegoddess: :romance-heartstiny: :romance-inlove: :romance-smileyheart: snow! Had a little bit of snizzle at work yesterday, but I usually have to spend the winter enjoying pictures of other peoples' snow. :(

We sit on the edge of that band that runs between Lake Michigan and Erie so Ft Wayne can get nothing and we'll get dumped on 30 miles away. The winds were already pretty strong this morning and the temp has been steadily dropping...we're under a "winter weather advisory" (whatever that means). I'm ready: have a snow blade and chains for the Kubota and if it gets really heavy I'll break out the 1945 Ford 2N with the front end loader (it's the only time snow is "fun" for me anymore, when I can play with my outside toys). :shifty:

Nice!
I'd love to experience one "white" Christmas in my life...
....ours are usually very hot, this year we are going to escape to my wife's families beach house at Burrum Heads in Queensland.
The plan is to eat prawns, drink Corona beer and Moscato wine and play with R/C battle tanks that shoot laser beams...
No work, slot cars or archery :)

Just had a quick look at the long term forecast. Tuesday, assuming all the talk about Mayan prophecy etc is wrong, is supposed to be clear, sunny and a very comfortable 23C. So... roast, bbq or whatever wanders by the plate will be good. Mum's turn to cook this year. I guess that means she didn't like last year's slow roasted goat. :(
I think I'll go fishing on Boxing Day so I do not to have to watch the cricket!
Would be nice to experience a white Christmas. We've been bombarded with pictures of it since childhood. We know our Christmas is all wrong.

....Yes!
....it's all wrong, I've felt that way since I was young!
Sweltering in the suburbia of Brisbane as a kid, no A/C back then....
We need a pole shift or something radical like that, we need snow...
