I'm gonna' be in Louisville, Ky. for a couple of days the 1st weekend in Oct.
Should I take my slotbox?? Is there any place nearby? I'm at a Navy reunion, so I don't have lots of spare time,
but I could always make some time for SLOTS.....tks:

They are open, just call.
SRI or Scale Reproductions is a full hobby shop. Still open for business sir. Just call them and check the hours for the weekend.
Phone: (502)459-5849
SRI has a small track but stocks plenty of 1/32 cars/parts.

hey Dave,
not sure what your time schedule is, but maybe as it gets closer we can cement a plan. I work Saturdays 6am - 6pm, but am usually able to make the club get together later Saturday night. Heck I may even host that night if it works out you can make it. Could also give you a spare room Saturday night if needed. I go back to work Sunday night @ 6pm. Just LMK when you get a solid plan. If not as said above, both BULLITT and SCALE HOBBY are open just be sure to give Skip a call at BULLITT because they only run select nights, and Skip always has extra cars for anyone who wants to race.

Dave,
Bullitt only runs 1/24 scale now. If you are going to be there longer than Saturday the line up is like this.
Sundays Drag Racing
Saturdays may or may not be a special group. Normal Saturdays it is modifieds and dirt late models.
Tuesdays Grand National and Winston Cup
Thursdays Truck and Open Wheel (modifieds)
All cars except drag cars are powered by MT5 motors on a K&S Chassis with hardbody model car bodies in 1/24 scale. There may be a few 1/25 as well. ProTrack Tires. Cars must have a driver figure and roll bars.
Link to their FaceBook Page showing open wheel cars on a Thursday night.

Dave, Bullitt is closed on Monday nites, officially. Our Indiana group of outlaw racers use the track on Monday nites and have a great time, run what you bring, nothing official, we just play, talk and have a good time. I have plenty of cars and controllers, all moderate speed 1/24 hard bodies. You can run any of my cars and use one of my controllers. We would be happy to have you join us. None of our group are veteran racers. We are just a bunch of guys that have fun and tear up cars.
Mark has a good bunch of home racers and I'm sure you will enjoy seeing his setup and all the great stuff he makes.
