Three guesses, but you'll only need one!



I had the honor of getting to visit our own Shotgun Dave and his fantastic family today. Just a great, great time!

Let start with the food: 5 Stars all the way! SGD claims to have pics of me eating salad, but those reports are unsubstantiated! Dave made homemade pasta with garlic and salmon. I swear it was better than any Italian place I've ever been to! And he then made waffle cookies and homemade vanilla ice cream with strawberries! I'm officially on a diet tomorrow!

We raced it all! Had a blast and had my tail handed to me by his son Donovan again!!!!

Wow. Donovan is growing up fast. Hard to believe he is that little boy we've seen.

That place is jalopy heaven. I get tetanus just looking at it.

Dave! You're making your own pasta now? Whoa. Big step. Do you do it the old way- a pile of flour with a hole in it, egg in the middle, etc? I've never tried it, but when it has been done in front of me before dinner it was quite a show.

The last part of the trip did involve going to see Carsland and Radiator Springs. I have to say, this is mindblowing! Seriously wicked cool!

Did any of you think, as I did... When the new Pizza Hut commercial came on with all that talk about "soul crushing salad eater" spoiling everybody else's dinner, did you immediately think of Reinecke? The truth is, he never wrecked anyone's dinner with his need for salad, but I can't help it... David, I thought about you. Maybe you could sue them?
