Stowaway from California!

While visiting Shotgun Dave's, I played with the Flying Peppermint - made famous by the recent Trans-Am Proxy. Sadly, the FP did not make the final round as Shotgun needed to make some repairs on it. Well, whatever he did, it runs fabulous now! I enjoyed turning laps on his oval and seeing it slide through the corners without tipping over.
When it came time to go, he handed it to me and told me to take her home. When I refused, he said it belonged on my track and not an oval. Well, it must have been dust from the Santa Ana winds, but I suddenly found I had something in my eye.
Coming through the TSA line at the airport, I took it out of my bag and put her in the bin since I figured a "gizmo" with wire and a motor would look strange on the Xray and I really didn't want to deal with making new friends. Well, I did anyway since several of the TSA guys were pretty enamored with it - as well they should be.
So, I just put her on the Palmer Divide Raceway and she FLYS now. I'm going to re-time her this weekend just to get a feel for how much better she runs now.
I can't tell you how honored I am to have her here and how much I treasure my friends and these fabulous little cars.
Here she is with her siblings:
