Just watched the first episode of Amazon's re-imagined version of "Top Gear". All in all not a bad attempt for a first try. I thought they were trying a bit too hard but I think things may smooth out with time. Nice to have them back.

Not a bad attempt considering the restrictions they were under with regard to mentioning or imitating any 'Top Gear' catchphrases or styles.

The attempts to de-Americanize standard 'car' language were a little labored but nevertheless quite amusing.

The three of them work best when they are off script and left to natter, ad-lib and tear into each other.

I'll certainly check out the other episodes on a weekly basis.

i agree, quite good for the first episode.
i'm sure the following ones will be better.
Maybe a good reason to get prime ....

Well, episode 2 is in the books..... It's better than the first but there are still some rough edges; they still seem to be trying too hard but I think they are going in the right direction.
