Yes Merry Christmas all. Today is the day i was brought up celebrating. Tomorrow we go tonthe inlaws! I hope im feeling better. Been in bed all day so far.

Sitting here with family and watching the the little ones bake and have fun. This means I am eating really good.

I just took tomorrow's ham out of the oven and put in baked ziti for tonight. yesterday I cooked a pecan-cranberry upside down cake, and a pound cake from a 150 year old recipe. Lots to cook tomorrow.

This is how I make merry. Cook like a madman for days on end. Last year we were still eating leftovers from the freezer in March, even after we gave away tons of food for the holidays. Woo Hah!

I have to go out to the shop and have slot car therapy while waiting for things to bake, of course.

Having 20 for supper tonight, so no time for slotting until all the bellies get fed.

The digital mode will get a good workout tonight after supper.

My wife bought me a micro mark cut off saw, meaning cutting that brass just got a whole bunch easier.She also bought me compound wire cutters to help the cause. One of my daughters bought me a couple of Porsche die cast cars for masters so I can pop some resin shells. I need to calipar these though. They seem too big for 143 but not big enough for 132. Probably about 1/36 would be my guess.They will make into unique cars for the track. Other daughter bought me a minature metal international shipping container. She figured it would be good to use for shipping proxy cars.

For me personally this is the day I get to celebrate the greatest gift of all with family and friends

It is the day after down here and I could swear I heard Crockett snoring....but then it might have been me.

At my table there were five Japanese, one German, one Canadian, two Chinese, one from the US and four Kiwis....the Russians didnt show up for some reason.
