Carl Edwards leaving racing full time. Indicated that he would like to spend more time with family, and keep his health. Mentioned keeping a sharp mind. Is this a result of Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s battle with concussions and I wonder how many others have had similar thoughts or discussions with family? Sad to see him go, but fully understand his position.

It is unfortunate. Have seen the good will of Carl towards some of his family who live near here, and wish him all the best.

I was never ever a fan of Carl's, but he has turned into a good driver :bow-blue:
He has always been in the thick of things :scared-eek: , when Carl and Tony were racing for the
Championship a few years back it was a great late season event to watch. :auto-driving: :auto-driving:
He was always good with the people, had time for just about everyone
That make him a Champion in my eye's, can't believe I said that. :oops: :violence-stickwhack:
