My attendance on the forum will be spotty for the next week or so. The reason? My wife and I are on a sailing trip in the BVIs at present. A couple of pictures to show the hardship we are having to contend with...

I feel so sorry for you having to sail around a tropical paradise while I have a bad cold, but like you say someone has to do it. :lol:

Ever since I got powerboats out of my system I have wanted a sailboat. Was very close to
purchasing a 34 foot cutter rigged Grampian just before my father died. But taking care
of the estate and family issues put a hold on that and I never got back to it. Might do now
that I am retired, and the sale of the vintage race cars will make that possible.

Well... Ain't life just a bitch? Nice of you to make the sacrifice so that the rest of us don' t have to.

That looks like it's a tough gig !!!
If it all gets a bit much, the least I can do is offer to come and take over for you, just for a couple of days mind you, until you regain the willpower to go on!

In the meantime, please try and keep your chin up and battle on. :lol:

It is a good thing you aren't complaining, or I'd make you come work at my job for a few days while I took your place! Good luck with that!

Looks like a fantastic trip, please share a few more pics when you have the time. Those of us who are currently shivering through the winter month's need to see them!
