Turbo Dogs is a great kids show. Like you said, it teaches morals and teamwork, but of course also includes a fair share of racing action- the likes of which remind me of shooting Hotwheels off of ramps around my living room as a kid! A lot of kids programming these days is either nonsensical (Teletubbies) or teaches kids to resolve conflicts through battles. (anything on weekend mornings on the WB network)

My wife’s ten year old nephew was visiting us for a weekend and talked about a kid that he was having problems with. He said “If only I was stronger, if I was more powerful I could defeat him!” I tried to explain to him that superheroes have their way of solving problems and real people like us should look at issues differently. I don’t think it sunk in. Poor kid.

Back to Turbo Dogs, it's refreshing to see a show that teaches the kind of values that could eventually mould a child in to the kind of slot-racer who you'd want to be standing next to at the track. Plus, I admit that I've watched it more than a few times when it used to be on right after the local morning newscast ended. The stories aren't bad at all! Unfortunately, I don’t think they’ve made new episodes for quite a few years now. If you’re interested, the tv series is based off of a book that is still in print.

HPI made an RC car out of that Nissan I did a reader review on awhile back. Forget about digital, this will be the next evolution of slot cars, minus the "slot" of course!
