Been a fine week around here and finally getting back to my old schedule. :)
Working on Showdown models and prepping the Skunkworks for a little painting.
What about you all? Any fun slot car plans?

Rebuilding my track table to make it 6x16 to accommodate new layout for my Carrera track.
If the weather holds on Sunday, going to Mid-Ohio to watch the vintage Grand Prix.

Got the grass cut and trimmed. Rain started just as I finished.
Had my track set up at a cousins house for his ministry this week. Kids 8-14 running SCX Nascars. 1/24 Nascar Die Cast was awarded to the winner in the two age brackets. Dover supplied Decals and the die cast cars as prizes. I will see if I can get a copy of the pictures. Plan is to take the kids to the Fairgrounds Speedway tomorrow for racing action. 5/8 mile high bank bull ring. Saw the King there when Nashville was on the circuit. Think I was 13 or 14.

Brakes. I've got to do that as well. Did the rears last month. The parts for the front came the other day. 2012 Lexus ES350.

Remember when all you needed for a Saturday afternoon brake job was new shoes and a star adjuster tool? Every four or five years you might need a "kit" or two?

Davek,
Sorry to hear of your loss. That date is my father's birthday. He left us to young at 60. I will be 65 next month. May God's Peace be with you.

Since it will be 105 this weekend and I'm on muscle relaxers, I'll be out in manwan working on my latest print, a VW Squareback in the cool confines. I should be able to get a little running time also on the track if the Grandkids left me with any running cars. :auto-swerve:

Vaca for about 7 weeks started Monday, I have a few irons in the fire, working on my summer slam entree, fitting a few pieces of the new HO track together, hosting the DCSCC Saturday night, then heading out around Wednesday for a couple weeks to visit with the grandkids, and fence off the new property. Whooa :?
