Sat up late last night watching dreadful film (movie) on TV.

"Driving Angry", starring Nicholas Cage. Uncharacteristically bad (for him), load of hokum with supernatural/satanic theme.

Heavy on car chases/special effects/explosions.I couldn't quite decide if it was meant to be a spoof.

Only saving grace was a couple of really nice cars - but even then I'm not sure they made it worth missing a couple of hours sleep!

The Rock was pretty good, but the could be because Sean Connery was in it.

Drive Angry isn't all that bad when you take it for what it was meant to be, an over-the-top grindhouse flick. Is it something to turn on and intently watch for 1-1/2 hours? Of course not. But I will confess that I've turned in on for background noise in the workshop on more than one occasion.

I did enjoy William Fichtner's portrayal as The Accountant. Usually he plays serious characters, it was nice to see him play an over-the-top Accountant from Hell for once....
