I spent 36 hours in airports, on planes and a bus. Got in at 5:50AM on Monday. I have never had such bad jet lag.

My SO's son (Army Ranger) usually makes a comment about me being slightly younger than the rocks when I start the "how it was when I was in..." line of thought. I've let him live up to now.

 So. When does it officially hit? Old age that is. I'm seriously looking forward to the amplification of the teasing available when His Lordship has his next birthday and turns 60. Particularly as I have such a looooooong time before I get there.
Should have heard the rant the day after his 55th when he got an invitation to join APIA (insurance for those over 55 and no longer working full time). He was not a happy boy. :D

I'm getting there. A little over a year and I'll be able to sign up for medicare. I don't feel any older than I did when I was 30. I just wouldn't attempt some of things I did back then, as I have become much wiser. :)

Don't complain. Remember, we all start young, but only some get old.

I woke up the other morning with a headache, cured it with coffee. In my book thats old people style, allways complaining they don't function before they've had their morning coffe. I've allways laughed and made jokes bout it. Not laughing so much now, i can tell u that.

When you forget how to play, you get old.
When you get old, you die.
Someone go get the mail, I expect a new car.
