Is that pic up top a legitimate old photo - ya know, without any modern "digital enhancements"?
Just wonderin'... Ernie

That was '62 or '63. I saw it in a magazine one of my friends snagged from the mailbox before his folks saw it or his father stashed it. I remember because we also snagged his mother's Salem cigarettes, so it was a huge victory day for the "not nearly as mature as we thought we were" twelve year olds' guerilla strike ninja sneaky force. I also remember some interesting new feelings, imagining what was under that PJ top she had on, trying to see up that leg...

I hadn't noticed the image because I usually use the portal or I'm on mobile. I love the innocence of some of the old ads. But am I the only one thinking that lady seriously needs to go to the bathroom???

Now I'm older than when I first saw it, I did notice her pose. In those days, it wasn't unusual for women, especially desirable women to pose in such a way as to indicate a sort of "lovely simpleton", the idea being that men would be less intimidated by a beautiful woman if she was stupid and easily entertained. It had the reverse effect though, as the boys who knew these images grew up to see them as old-fashioned, and sought more in a woman than someone who is easily entertained.

I vaguely remember that ad. It one of those things you know you have seen, but don't remember where. I was trying to figure it out to no avail. Definitely a '60's ad. To me it conjures up images of what they were doing before they decided to share the PJ's. Slot racing my patooty. :)
