Did you paint them or use the black ones? They also come in red and yellow.

BTW there are two sizes one is a loose fit for axle tubes one is a tighter fit for spacers. How to tell? Buy them!

Dum Dum sticks won't work Roger. They're the old spiral wrapped paper sort.

I was so looking forward to having my second ever Dum Dum from the last SCC order, but His Lordship found it. :( Seems I'll have to hide them.

Why would you put the front axles in tubes, instead of just using washers or bushings?

I have found chuppa chup sticks to be too tight to use as bearings but fine for axle spacers...cut to length and go.

Front axles in tubes acts like bearings but can increase the front end stability by supporting the axle further outwards especially in F1 cars but....brass or alloy will be more rigid than the flexible plastic tube.
