strange weather out there

Its looking kinda scary on the whole this year. Tornadoes, massive t-storms that cover 1/3 of the lower 48 in one huge system from Mexico to Canada, and from Montana to Ohio, downright odd rain patterns everywhere else with flash flood all over the place, and the specter of what could be the worst hurricane season (large hurricanes are up 175% of the average in previous decades, and this season is predicted to be very active).

Meanwhile, its late May and we are having our first 90 degree day. What's happening with you mid-western guys? You okay out there?

We had thunder in Hilo, which is very unusual here. I guess the end-times are upon us!

Mother Nature is busy reminding us who is boss guys. It's pretty topsy turvy everywhere.

Stay safe.

It's a good thing I fix boats for a living. Might need one soon. The lake was down 3 foot plus. due to last years drought just 6 weeks ago. Now it's plenty full and getting fuller as we speak. Clear Lake is on top of a plateau so there isn't mutch run off going into it, no rivers or streams feed it. It's fed by springs and rain only.

They say it's global climate change. It's just not here, it's all over. We've had some smallish storms this spring, but nothing bad so far, and we are below average for rain this month, but I believe it will make up for it this weekend. :)

Ya, well, mother nature is going through OK right now sweeping up what she left
behind last week. God help those poor souls.

Springtime in Nebraska here
Tornado 1/2 mile west of here last night....same track as a couple of years ago probably 100s of years before that, creek outside my front door is right up to the banks.....just like it was when when we bought the place summer of '90. Have we been around and keeping track long enough to know if this isn't normal?

Huge storm just passed through here. Luckily I was outside fixing my mower :)

The rain is good for my hair.

THAT's why I'm losing my hair? No rainwater on it?

I meant hair as in one. One left I think.

So, when people say, "Did you get a hair cut?" You say, "Yup." Because you can't tell my great grandfather's favorite joke, "No, I got all of them cut." Is that how it is?

The General cuts what little I have. I just tell her: "Cut til you get tired".

Imagine a light bulb with a ball cap on.

I think we were separated at birth. At least my baldspot is in the shape of a heart...it is all that love for humanity in me just bursting out.
