Jury Duty is Over
Posted: Tue Jun 04, 2013 4:26 pmI never got seated or even made it to jury selection. Got paid enough to buy a slot car. Of course I am on my three months unemployment -- soooo the money was welcome.

Posted: Tue Jun 04, 2013 5:15 pmI'll get paid for my jury duty whenever they decide to send it. Probably a couple more weeks. 3 days at $40 a day, plus mileage. I could buy a nice slot car for that. :)

Posted: Tue Jun 04, 2013 5:56 pmAs long as we are called to the courthouse we get $19 - even if the excuse us 5 minutes later or keepp 12 hours, it is still $19.

Posted: Wed Jun 05, 2013 5:36 amIt's hardly worth less than $20 to get up early and be there by 7:30, but you have to show up or they will send the police to your house and pick you up. :lol:
