Wonderful Willys...from American Nitro

Postby HomeRacingWorld » Sun Jun 16, 2013 7:56 pm

Let's take a look at what a retired sheet metal guy from Boeing Aircraft can do in his spare time. A hand-formed all-aluminum Willys Coupe. It 's amazing what some people can do with an English rolling wheel, sheet metal brake and a lot of skill and knowledge.

No, he is not going to paint it. Notice the polished flames! (Look closely) This is Walt Austin’s aluminum Willys coupe at Jim Hume 's shop, south of Bellingham, Washington.

I know just enough about how to do this to be overwhemingly impressed. Wow. Sometimes I think I don't deserve to have tools.
