I used to do ribs on a firepit like that. I used old wire shelves from refrigerators for grills.

It's all very for you guys, here in the UK given that it's a couple of days after longest day it is sooo cold that our heating kicked in this morning following a weekend of torrential rain. The TV weather witch even predicted a frost for some areas overnight. Summer pah! Bah humbug!

I feel for ya Allan. I have a friend who lives in Oldham. He was in Glossop Derbyshire for several years. He says the summers are not very hot there. I told him it's and island cut it loose and move 'er a little farther South. :)
