Aquaintance lost Chevelle and home in fire

A gent that was one of the original members of the Rocky Mountain Chevelle Club that I founded in 2001 had a gorgeous 1967 SS Chevelle. I just found this story about Joe and his family: [img]http://www.koaa.com/news/man-who-lost-home-in-black-forest-fire-determined-to-move-on-and-help-others/#!prettyPhoto[gallery]/0/[/img]

Here's what the Chevelle used to look like at a show in 2003 next to my 1968:

According to the article they are all safe, but what a bummer they lost everything. I'll have to call him this week.

So tragic. Sorry to hear this, but at least they are ok.

Like Harry said, it's great the family is ok, someone/something must have been watching over them. Having said that, it has to be gut wrenching to lose your home, belongings and something like that SS; from the picture you can tell a lot of love went into it.
