I have worked on just about every type of slot car chassis with no ill effects, but yesterday I was putting a Slot It. pod in an Auto Art chassis which did require cutting and filing. I did this in the late morning early afternoon and about 4PM my right hand began to have a burning and itching sensation. I had washed my hands after working on it. About 5PM it was a burning sensation that felt like I had hundreds of little needles in it. That was the only I worked on. The filing produced vey fine shavings which my right hand was in as I was holding the chassis with it and using the file in my left being left handed. Next time I will use some rubber gloves that I use to work on my real cars. My hand is still burning a little this morning, but is slowly going away. So be aware this can happen. Must be the glass fibers in the plastic. :?:

Could be, have had that in the past but cannot remember what model I thought caused it.

Maybe you need a vacation? We have some old fashioned healing methods here that seem to always work. Just call my secretary to schedule an appointment. :)

I could definitely use a vacation. Even when you're retired it does a person good to get a change of scenery. :)
The itching and burning feel somewhat better since I took a shower. It will go away but not soon enough. :roll:
