While we love the General,my vote would have to be with the bandit!

Besides, I have two Bandits.

"The General" was an embarrassment to Southerners, and I wish it had never come on screen. The "Bandit", on the other hand, represents a real technique for evading speed laws by truckers. It was usually a less conspicuous car, plain Jane, seriously hopped up, frequently equipped with nitrous. More than once I thought I'd seen one of these jackrabbits (that's what they were called), zooming down the road with a microphone near his mouth, flying past me on long runs out west. Pretty soon, here would come a huge big rig, fully dressed, lots of aerodynamics, doing 90mph or more. I have always assumed that was what they were. It was a daily occurrence on the road. When the movie came out, I laughed out loud until I thought I would get thrown out of the theater. To me it was very real, and completely hilarious.

The General - no question.

I love both but its gotta be the General...Rob as a true southerner, being born and raised in the south I have to disagree about it being a embarrassment to us. The acting on the show yes but nothing about the car itself is a embarrassment. Its a iconic car and not everyone likes it but there are a awful lot of people that do.

I like both. Hard to pick.
