I read stuff like this and see things like "no digital radios", "not more than one team member on the spotter stand"................this is why I long for the "old days" of racing be it NASCAR, Formula 1, etc. Racing is supposed to be about pitting you and your machine against him and his machine; not who the sponsor with the deepest pockets and best pull with the sanctioning body. Team racing implies that you will work together toward a common goal. For years this has been the accepted norm at Sebring, LeMans, F1, etc. I guess NASCAR didn't get it when they allowed teams and what did NAPA think sponsoring a team meant? :angry-soapbox: I'll get down now and go find Mr Peabody and his Wayback machine.....go back where I feel comfortable, anyone got an extra Davy Crockett hat or Howdy Doody doll?

I can't find any information about WHAT actually happened. The Nascar.com site is merely covering it from their sanitized standpoint.
What did MWR do?
