The old NASCARS are great, but they have their own circuit. Having been a vintage racer, when they
first started opening the vintage sports car events to the stockers, I, as well as many others, protested.
The organizers claimed that it brought in more entries, and spectators, which in turn was supposed to
reduce the cost to the rest of us. It didn't happen that way. Eventually I was spending half my yearly
income vintage racing, and I had to stop.
