Books That Fueled Your "Car Craziness"

I saw this subject over on one of the 1:1 hot rod sites. What books (not magazines, etc; we all read those) kind of fed your need for automotive stories/literature back when you were in school?
I'll start with saying I was interested in anything with wheels from the moment I was aware of them. The book that started me off on sports cars was "The Red Car" by Don Stanford; Kid buys a wrecked MG TC and repairs it. Others were the "Black Tiger" series by Patrick O'Connor and Henry Gregor Felsen's "Hot Rod", "Street Rod", "Crash Club" and "Boy Gets Car". There wer many others but these kind of stand out.
I recently picked up 3 of the Black Tiger books online and even though they were written in the 50s/60s for the juvenile market they hold up pretty well.
So how about everyone else?

Theres 3 books for me, Im not sure that these books started it all for me but in current times I could not live without them.

* Richard Petty - The cars of the King by Bill Coulter
* Transam 1966-72 by Friedman.
* Chrysler in the 1950s

Those 3 books are my goto books & covers everthing I want to build

Christmas 1984 I was given the complete book of collectible cars 1940-1980.
I remember being mezmerized by many of the european sports cars like the aston martin zagato and ferrari 250lm. I also read every road and track and car and driver between 1983 and 1987.

I did book reports on 2 in the 6th grade one was A J Foyt and Mario Andretti it was a kids book but I enjoyed them

Then it's "Michel Vaillant - Rush", read it in '72.
