Wow. Being a teenager in the '60's how could you not be a motorhead? I love women, but there is nothing that grabs my attention more than the sound of a muscle car. If only my Trans Am slot cars had realistic sound effects like digital trains.

If they do this race again in 2014, I'll be there.

I believe they do it every year. Check out the Watkins Glen website to be sure.

I've been to one of these events at Lime Rock in CT, and it is indeed a site every Motorhead has to see, young and/or old.

I go every year to the Lime Rock historic weekend.. it's an amazing collection of vintage race cars and they run them pretty much
9am to 6pm Friday, Saturday and Monday.. (Sunday is a huge concourse car show that circles the entire track)

I've been to the Glen as well, but Lime Rock Park is a bit more intimate..you can walk the perimeter and see racing from anywhere
on the track and they open up the track to walkers / bicyclers after 6pm too.. My kids were very excited to ride on a 'real race track'

Full access to the paddock is always included so you can meet the drivers and see the cars up close.. It's great~
