I'll say it again - Going away from the C5 was a mistake. I cannot stand the new bodystyle.

Ok. From the intro, I took it that she knew about the car. The surprise was that it had arrived. I'd suggest she wasn't particularly enthused when he ordered it. She keeps asking if he's excited.
Y'know I'd like to think anyone that knew me enough to spend that kind of money on me would know me well enough to know my taste. Which would basically mean that they wouldn't be spending that kind of money on me, I suppose.

I agree. She wasn't excited in the least. Looked more like an ad than giving someone a new car. She acted like it just didn't matter. The part that puzzles me is why would a boyfriend give a girlfriend such an expensive gift? Maybe a bottle of nice perfume or some nice jewelry. Not an expensive car. :) If it were me I would have asked her what kind of car she liked best. :auto-driving:

Has no one realized the logic yet ? He bought it for her,she seems to care less, she won't likely drive it much especially after her reaction to the first test drive. Therefor due to deprecation they will have to keep it a while,no sense letting it sit in a garage SOMEBODY has to go for a spin at least once a week just to keep it in decent shape for resale. Now turn off the traction control and grab some OEM rubber for the rear while there available :auto-driving:
