Appreciate the concern, Rick!
Jenny and I did just fine. Her carport took some damage up in Michigan, and we did ok in Indiana, too. There was one time when the wind came up so fast and blew so hard that I realized how darn much I wanted to play with slot cars, and I flat-out ran to the basement to find my controller.

All is well here. We didn't get much of anything, just some high winds that only filled my yard with every leaf in Missouri.

Thanks youngster!

Wind took out an already dead tree on our place and we lost power for about 4 hours. Big temp drop from yesterday.

Just missed us outside Chicago. I haven't been able to contact an old friend who retired to Frankfort, though.

Everything OK here. They were all around us, but we managed to dodge another bullet. Just some rain and a little wind. :)

We got one heck of a storm through us here in Australia last friday night. The rain dumped down with the heaviest rainfall Ive ever seen. Combine that with hail. The lightning strikes were almost constant. Like one big flash instead of lots of lightning. Some water leaked into the house, actually into the room where all me slot stuff is, track, cars etc. No damage to the slot stuff but Ill need some plasterboard repairs here & there. Also I need to get a section of my tin roof replaced which I knew wasnt great anyway, just getting quotes now, looking like a $3K bill. My backyard also flooded, about 1 foot deep. Unfortunately my garage also flooded about a half foot deep. Not happy as my Mopar was in there.

Ive been running loads of stormwater pipes around my property & joining them up to an easement in the neighbours yard. My plumbing worked great, but the only problem was the easement was full so the water backed up. But once the rain eased up the water drained away very quickly. I would hate to think what would of happened if I didnt do any plumbing work. I just wish this storm would of happened in 2 weeks time as all my stormwater plumbing would of been finished. Just got beaten by the weather. Been cleaning up for a couple of days.
