I just discovered that the place I ordered the new Cougars from (white kit included), already had an order from me (made by my wife for Christmas), and the total for both orders was over $240.00! I got in touch with them and cancelled the order I made in favor of hers that was made a month earlier. She will get to surprise me for Christmas, but not nearly as surprised as I was this afternoon!

See what happens when you do things like that around Christmas? Kind of backfires on you, doesn't it?. :laughing-rolling:

It does kind of make life awkward. Remember to act properly surprised. And see.... She does listen when you start waffling slot cars. :D

I just got an email from the female staff at the vendor... all three of them. I am now a minimally famous interstate sweetheart. Let's just say I received a lot of sincere "awww, you're so sweeeet!!" comments. They're right, of course. Extremely intelligent and insightful women that they are...
