As far as our little hobby goes we sure have it good.
Lot of new models this year to keep us occupied along with just about every part we could want to tune them how we like.
We don't recognize them enough, but I want to say thanks to the "grass roots" folks who are REALLY the ones that make things nicer for us addicts.
Guys like Paul who pour tires til the wee hours, and always making new molds.
Mark Thomas for my cool little motors and tiny detail bits. Not to mention the great bodies.
Shotgun Dave, Mr. Hornet and a few others pouring all sorts of bodies and sharing them with folks.
RazorJon making his cool tool and opening his home for us to play in.
Doc at RMS and his laboratory. Looking at what we have there would keep you busy for a couple years.
Dickie and the Gang at SCC making those cool wheels and other gadgets. I think I have enough of those stickers to wallpaper my bedroom.
The B-Nova guy. I don't know him but I am glad he invented what he did.
Gene at H&R racing who keep my 1/24 fires burning. Without him and his chassis my hobby would not be as fun as it is.
And guys like Bruce, Brian, Dickie, Father Bob and others who have the stores we shop in. They keep us informed what comes in and treat us pretty well I think.
Then there are the guys making 1/43rd offerings that keep that scale chock full of surprises.
The folks making our ready to run models work hard too. Sometimes they make mistakes and we are quick to remind them of it. Yet we need to thank them for the efforts and commend them when they get it right. And most times they really do a good job of things.
Looking over at the Skunkworks I see all these things around me. Cars, parts, tools...many of them were only a dream a few years ago. Now look at us today. We can either buy it off the shelf or build it from scratch.
If I forget someone, my apologies. it's hard to keep up these days.
So thanks to all the folks who help make our hobby what it is.
