Aw, Lynne's gong to be forced to buy a car to fill out a set- what suffering! I have been eyeing those Falcons for a while now. I have Holdens, so I am in the same position- ain't it great!? Has anybody ever routed a Bathurst track? Hmmm.

My youngest son designed and built a guitar for me. It started as a fancy electric, and he redesigned the entire system of pickups, phase control and selectors. I'll post pictures later, he's doing some last minute things to it. Its a proof of concept prototype that he has finished with and has moved on to a more sophisticated system he has been aiming at from the beginning. This is some great leftover for a present. Now I have to learn how to use a guitar that is not only electric, but makes 72 different kinds of sound. Like I say, I've got a lot to learn. I have always played acoustics. I only have an amp because a guy needed money and sold it to me years ago.

Yng beat me to it. I was going to mention Mel's Mt. Salt Panorama. But one of the other guys on Auslot also has a Bathurst based track. A bit more literal than Mel's interpretation. From recollection, Mobbzee's track runs arount the inside of his garage almost on a shelf but doesn't make the huge climb that the Mt. Panorama track actually makes. I recall seeing somewhere that scaled at 1/43 a true scaled mountain would need an overall rise an fall of 1.8 metres.

I got some good stuff, all slot cars! Let's see, I got a Mercury Cougar, Dodge Challenger, Petty Mustang, and a VW Beetle rally car all Scaley's. :)
Already have the Beetle stripped of paint as I'm doing a Cal Look Beetle with it. 8-)

I got the Challenger and Cougar and 2 PM controllers for the track. Things are good in slot car land. :dance:

The one Mokid got me years ago finally died. This is a great little outfit. Yes, it's loud...I don't care. It's not just for painting and I have a compressor just for that anyway.
