Had an amazing St. Pattys Day.. and I'm not Irish!

I'll spare everyone the long version of this story.. but something amazing happened over the 16th and 17th..
You probably saw I got a great deal on a Porsche 944S two weeks ago.. Well, I joined a 944 forum and Sunday night,
a new user posted that he was looking for someone in the Boston area to become the new caretaker of his car.
This was absolutely one of those 'Too good to be true' things.. The kind of scenario that makes your Spidey sense tingle
and think things like "Its a trap, run away" LOL.. But I sent the man a PM and we talked on the phone Monday morning.
Last night at 6:30 pm, I met Bob at a foreign auto repair shop just outside Boston.. and he signed over the title to me
on this incredible machine.. It's a 1986 Porsche 944 turbo, which is amazing in itself, but this particular car is one of
10 that factory Porsche driver/tuner Chris Cervelli built in Arizona as a street legal but fully race prepped version of his
race cars.. I have all the receipts from the build.. just under $40,000 in total. Thats just the modifications, engine work,
brakes, suspension etc.. not the price of the car.
The car was built when it had 48,000 miles on it, and now it has 105,000 but it has been well maintained over the years.
It is unbelievable fast.. The dyno sheets from the build have it at 409 horsepower at the rear wheels with 433 ft pounds of torque.
It will spin the rear wheels under boost at 65 MPH.. Not for the feint of heart LOL.
I have no idea why a man would gift a car like this to someone he met on the internet less than 24 hours ealier.. He told
me he didn't have time for the car or its upkeep anymore, that he didn't need money for it, and that he wanted it to go to
an enthusiast who would enjoy it, not part it out for the treasure trove of Porsche high performance parts it has.
Still trying to wrap my head around it all, but this car is now safely in the garage under a cover.. What a day.
