My youngest son gave me this for Father's day.

I like it :) Fun to listen to when it's trigger time.

Harry,
Okay now, without looking at the jackets, how many car songs can you name?

I never saw that one with the pets on it before. I have the others- veterans of too many parties. Are those new pressings? I wouldn't know what to do with Beach Boys records that didn't throw the needle out every now and then! You have to respect a kid that gives Beach Boys albums. Good for you.

Gotta love the Beach Boys, they have a sound that never gets old. I remember the Little Deuce Coupe album was the first cassette tape I had when I was a kid and played it for years.

Can't beat the Beach Boys for car music. Even Paul McCartney called Brian Wilson the best rock composer of the time.
Pet Sounds is generally regarded as his best work. When Smile was finally released I was disappointed.

Wow, Harry, and on vinyl no less! I know you're gonna love those.
When TOWER Records opened here on Long Island many years ago (they're long gone now, unfortunately), my first time in the store I purchased the entire Beach Boys catalog on the newly mastered CDs. Of course, I then proceeded to find solo stuff, bootlegs, ect., like I've done with my Beatles collection over the years. Good vibrations are good vibrations!
Glad you had a wonderful Father's Day, now you can enjoy that music forever... "tach it up, tach it up, buddy gonna shut you down!"
Congrats... Ernie

Pet Sounds is one of the greatest albums ever. So many other artists were influenced by it.

There are parts of me growing, but not the track :)
Yes, they are CD's.
So the tunes will be great at the next HRW Slotmeet. But fair warning, I have to get some 80's stuff for Junior :)

CDs do last longer. All my LPs are worn out.

That is one great CD box set Harry. All of their great stuff. I've only seen them in concert about 4 times. One of my favorite car songs was Surf City. I've been a fan since the early '60's.
