fathers day at the crossroads speedway

Had a GREAT time fathers day at the speedway,invited my Dad, my brother,son in law and related family to a cookout and all day racing session. My Dad is a car guy from way back,and truely loves the slot set-up i have. He had a favorite car,till we talked him into running some of the bombers,and he found out he has more than one favorite now! He is 76 years old,but very young at heart (read childlike :P )
my brother recently joined this forum,but hasnt posted anything yet. never seen him keep his mouth shut this long,but hey im good with it!.
all in all,it was a great time,we all had hurting sides from laughing at the various crazy wrecks and no driving skills some of us were showing off.
I can only say,i hope all or at least many of the rest of you had a similar fun experience,and got to spend time with your Dads, if not in person,then at least in spirit.

Well Bibbster,this hobby should be bustin at the seams at this point!
I am building my dad a midget,Dave is sending me some bodies,he has a childhood favorite from a great experience he had at the local track.
I will be trying to replicate that car from available pictures.
