The stock car was sad. The body mounts in the chassis were in the wrong place so the wheels don't line up with the wheels wells on the body. The body is the same so the non race viper body but lighter. So I had to cut off the body post and move them to match the chassis. Added the new axles, gears , and wheels. This is the car so far

I have a Viper in the Lemans winning Oreca livery but it is a front motor car and doesn't keep up with the side winders. Scaleauto has the 1/24 scale SRT but not the 1/32 scale at this time.

My Fly Viper got a set of C.B. Design LMP wheels, Slot.It axles, gears and HRS-2 chassis. It has really been transformed into a great running car.
Once Scaleauto brings out their Viper GTS-R in 1:32, I will have one of them as well.
In Thomasville, Georgia, there is a commercial slot car raceway by the name of The Viper Pit. The name was chosen by the owner/operator as in his "Big Car Shop" he does lots of high performance tuning on Dodge Vipers and also Corvettes. He owns a twin turbo Viper that puts out 1125 horsepower to the rear wheels on the dyno in the shop.
Sometime he has lots of guys up for the weekend with all sorts of Corvettes. The "Dyno Runs" are impressive to listen to. Kind of hard to race slot cars though when you hear that much horsepower across the parking lot!
