I have to admit I wasn't even aware there was a Trans-Am series anymore. Hope it grows to a point it becomes a major force in racing again.

Also wonderful to see Tommy Kendall back in a Trans-Am car again. He was always a great driver and an incredible road course racer as well as a nice guy. Worked with him several times at Long Beach and he was fun to be around.

Alright! Now we've got Ford, Chevy, and Dodge back at it in the modern version of this
classic American "sedan" road racing series. Very cool. Toyota should race it's Camry (call it a Solara) there.
Hope they come to Lime Rock or some other venue reasonably close to the NY Metro area.
The two cars look super! And yes, the possibilities for more great slot subjects..

The website looks great and so does the series.

I know why I didn't know about it now. Hopefully they come west of the Rockies at some point in time so I can go see a race. Looks like all the tracks are East coast at this point.

I raced Cal Club with Stu Hayner, Andy Porterfield (Porterfield Race Brakes) and Dino Crescintini. Would like to see them able to get back out there, but the are West Coast guys for the most part.

Also notice there are 2 women drivers in T/A; good to see them getting some seat time.
