I saw this picture and thought, If HRW Had an oval race, this would be the line up.
Look close and you will see Shotgun Daves cars,Witworthnuts rides, even a few from Crossroads speedway!and I am sure many more that I cant think of! what a mix of various decades of ovalness.

Fantasies of ovalness,
The roar, the stink,
The wrenching at a maniac's pace,
A thought before sleep, a respite from reality,
To relieve me of dwelling
On my own ovality.
Burp... 'scuse me. We'll have a pint on that!

I can remember my closest call!
One day I climbed into that shiny little red sports car and fired her up, off I went, wild as the wind, when I lost my grip on the steering wheel on a hard corner! and fell outward, with my shoulder inches from the pavement, I held on screaming for my life!
Fortunately, the manager came out and unplugged the machine.....whew, what a ride!
