I have been for quite awhile and noted the 3 most recent episodes are available on Netflix. Needless to say, I've already watched the first 2  Can't say they're quite as good as the WWII episodes but they don't miss by much!

Yes, good show. I don't watch much anymore unless it's late, but this show is in the rotation.

We've watched the original series at least 3 times and am now watching the latest batch for the second time. I never get tired of them.

We were hooked until just after he came home from the US. The Cold War stuff got pretty slow.

But that couple of episodes with Spitfires screaming low overhead sure got my heart going. There was a Lancaster and a Bristol and a fat Westland Lysander, too. The Lysander was parked, but the rest were flying.
We also really liked Honeysuckle Weeks, the driver you mentioned, and the later episodes had her being victimized too much. Pissed us off, can you believe it?

It's a great show...watched them all on Netflix. Another series if you can handle subtitles is the Swedish production of Wallander - there is also an English production of the show too. Both are worth watching. But yeah, I really enjoyed Foyle, especially the episode where a bomb took out a pub.

Hey, laugh if you must, but I liked Murdoch Mysteries too.

We LOVE that one! Its listed with two different names, and we sought it out and found it. Whether its Murdoch Mysteries or The Artful Detective, we watch every time we see it. I'm saving up to buy the whole series when that comes around. Its going to cost.

Foyle's War, Murdoch, Wallander (both), Luther, Sherlock all have an avid following in this household. In addition, I've introduced the Other Half to the original Jeremy Brett version of Holmes and Inspector Morse. One additional source we have: just got a 40" "Smart" tv so we can watch shows together on YouTube, etc rather than crowd around the computer desk. Oh, BTW, Jay Leno's Garage is very cool on the big screen

Did you ever catch "Rosemary & Thyme" or "Pie in the Sky"?
