Posted: Tue Sep 23, 2014 4:09 pmThose are oak galls. Normally they are on the branches by the leaves depending on what type of oak you have. My oaks were loaded with them this summer, but they have all fallen off. If they all off the tree will usually live to releaf the following spring, if not the tree could possibly die. :)
