I just might have a problem here

The Wife thinks that I may be going a little over board on these slot cars. To give you some idea what I do, i will research a car, get it's credential specs, scale the specs down to 1/32 and then fire up the CAD and model up a chassis.
Once modeled up, I will run it through the stress analysis and check for weak points.
Once satisfied with the results, I'll save the model as a STL file and off to my little printer it goes. Once printed, I'll clean a few of the rough spots off, insert and glue some 1/8" brass tubing for axle bushings, drill and add the flag, and then mount the motor, gears and wheels.
With the motor wired and a new set of PGT's its off to the track for some testing. But with the fun factor, I think she might be pulling my leg a little for from what I've seen here, I might be a little under average so I should really pick it up a notch.
