Sometimes class and cool are better than horsepower.

Yeh, especially with the memories I have in the Cobra. The Wife and Kids found it for me for my birthday and they even added to the kitty so that I would have enough for a down payment. But then I didn't let the kids drive it until they were out of college. I guess you could call me a mean daddy but I was afraid it would get a scratch on it.

Dollar for dollar, and this coming from a Ford guy, the Dodge Challenger R/T in a 6-speed manual transmission with no options continues to be the cheapest bang for the buck on the planet. 376 HP for $27K Brand New! I tried to buy a new Mustang in 2012 and by the time I optioned it to provide the similar power that Challenger had, I was in the upper 30s. So, that's what I did.
The bigger decision is figuring out if you like the new Mustang body style or not. Nice problems to have. Enjoy!

With all the great suspension pieces they make now I would just update the Cobra I have. It would be less expensive than a new car and you will know exactly what you have, but your choice of course. :)

Before you make a decision, you should probably ask how much extra they charge for paint.
