My wife has been watching Christmas movies all weekend. I started thinking about some of my favorite Christmas movies. My favorite has to be Christmas Vacation, I can recite every line from the movie. So you know mine. What's yours?

"A Christmas Story" - Jean Shepard used to be on the radio at WOR in NYC. On the way home from my weekend work at Linden Airport, I always used to listen to him. A great story teller!

A Christmas Carol, starring Alistar Sim. The second version of this movie ever made, and for me by far the best. Second place goes to the Reginald Owen version.

Modern movies, well, I guess there are only two I care about- Ralphie (A Christmas Story), and Scrooged.

I'm with Tubby, we watch that movie every year, classic!

It's a Wonderful Life is a classic, so that gets my vote.

However, my wife's all-time favorite movie (Christmas-related or not) is Home Alone, so that plays at our house a lot. It's as much a Christmas movie as it is an expose on how not to raise your kids. Speaking of movies that use Christmas a backdrop for an unrelated storyline, is Gremlins too much of a stretch for a Christmas movie? (or Die Hard? :lol: )

Gotta be " A Christmas Story". I read his whole book " In God We Trust, All others Pay Cash". It
is hilarious!

I love "A Christmas Story" and have several ornaments for our tree from the movie. But I have to admit that my all-time favorite is The Muppet's "Christmas Carol". I simply love the movie and The Muppets!

Christmas Story and Scrooged are good christmas themed movies.

However, the best christmas movie was Die Hard! (easy to forget the christmas theme there)
