In an emergency you might be able to use a computer at your local library. Recently AT&T sold its Connecticut U-verse business to Frontier and the transition was somewhat painful. People lost their phone, TV or Internet service for a few hours or a few days. You were not able to get through to customer service unless you waited a long time. My old AT&T password would not work on the Frontier website and I could not get a new one without a PIN number. The PIN number was only available on my bill, but that was delayed by nearly a month. My Internet connection was spotty for a day or so. There are things that I could do on the AT&T site that are not available on the Frontier site, at least not as far as I can tell.
