Our forecast. Right now it could dump a foot of snow any second.

By Saturday I'll be on the deck grilling. Might wear shorts, maybe a Hawaiian shirt? You know it's a little crazy when your weather teams claims it to be "Amazing".

I could use that temp this weekend to melt off some of this snow :angry-tappingfoot: I'm not going racing tonight because we already got 3-4" since noon (on top of the 11" we got Sunday) and it's not supposed to let up for another 3 hours. The high will be 37 on Sat with rain overnight turning back to snow with another 3" Sunday night :scared-eek: And people ask why we want to move!
Dave, I would say something to you but this is a family forum! :naughty:

I won't bore you guys with what the weather is like here. Don't want that many people moving this way but... Sprint car season opens in a few weeks. I can hear guys testing today. :music-rockout:
I have a place in Mammoth which is a ski era in the Eastern Sierra pretty much due east and a little south of San Francisco. 9,000 to 11,000 feet in elevation. The Sierras are also a major source of water for Southern California as a whole and particularly for the Los Angeles Area. There has been no significant snowfall there this season so far. I mean None. Season to date should be in the neighborhood of 250 inches or more right now. If it stays like this until spring and summer you'll be hearing about rationing and drought conditions in So Cal and you guys will all be laughing.
Temperatures there today are in the high 40's, low 50's. Should be in single digits for this time of year.
C'mon snow. :banana-dance: Come our direction. Leave those guys in the mid west and back east alone.

We don't know how to plan here. Today, I wore a T-shirt, tomorrow, its supposed to be 14 degrees. All our snow is gone, but we could have an ice storm anytime. And my damned golf cart is crippled, so I'm legless. AUGH!

It has been consistently below zero -0 up here in Northern Vermont for the last week solid. Today it warmed up to 28. Great for drifting sideways- super rallye drives to work everyday in the Audi S6 Avant quattro! Forecast for more snow all week

Hmmm.....I live in a Buffalo suburb.
Soooo.....we measure snow with a yard stick or tape measure !!! LOL
On the plus side.....summer in da' Buff is amazing.
Niagara Falls is 25 minutes away and it still amazes me.
Also....a 200 foot/6 lane Carrera analog track is 5 minutes from my house !!!
Plus... a beautiful routed track in Niagara Falls.
If ever "up here" look me up !!!! I know where to get the best wings !!
Be safe !!

We had a week of clear cold weather in November, a down and gone snowfall in early December, and no winter at all since. Local ski hills are closed at a time of year they should be turning a profit. Interior ones like Whistler are fine, though. There is no snow in the 14 day forecast, and the flowers are coming up and buds on the trees.
Who says global warming is a myth, eh?

Gee, maybe those people who study climate actually knew what they were talking about 10 years ago.

today at 9AM it was 40 and started raining 2:30 PM it changed to ice dropped to 20 got a nice coat of ice then the wind kicked up to 20-30 MPH got snow coming down, in the mornin could be 12 below zero with the wind chill
thankfully my company has the best 2nd shift maintenance mechanic that drove headfast into the storm, salting and shoveling so everyone could make it to the parking lot at 11:00 PM
