Time for a new Targa track

This Friday will be the last race on the Targa Burnaby, work will begin on the new track on Saturday. The new track will probably be a bit longer and have 4" lane spacing. We have a bunch of guys looking forward to building and running 1/24 scale cars.
The scenery will be 1/32 scale, so the bigger cars may look a little weird, but should look OK after a few beers.
This is sort of a plan...

...and I've pre-cut some of the corners to speed thing up next week.

Retro44 will be running the TLOR Proxy on the new track in a couple of weeks, so I better start making dust

Also looking forward to seeing this new track progress. 4" spacing will make it a lot different.
I think I have a car in the TLOR, so it will be neat to get a run in on the new track!

Yes you do, Allan, a beautiful 1955 Mercedes Benz. It will look good going around the new track.

Got about half the track cut and routed today...

About 1/3 of the track will have a "racing line"...

Lotsa room for 1/18 Sidecars...

...and 1/24 scale cars...

Luf - As usual, this track will somehow manage to top the last one that was fantastic! Can't wait to see more!

Viewing the bottle of "lubricant" in the first routing pic above, I now have a better understanding of the lane shapes..................... ;)

With the help of Mike, Don (tf1250) and Dan (vtecfour) we got the routing and painting done today...

After dinner, Dan and I got the center lane finished and ran some laps...

Looks like an intricate design.
What specific paint do you use?

Looks great Luf, which direction is the best running, I see you tried it both ways?
