seven feet tall in 1/32 scale.. A normal sized tree about 35’ is what I was thinking..
First I went outside and found some suitable sticks to make a tree out of..

Then I trimmed some and started adding branches to the main ‘trunk’.. I used a dremel bit about the same
size as the branch I was adding and made the hole deeper than you see here so the new branch would slide
in and fit well.. I used (get this) wood glue to hold them together..

Next I added some fall foliage from Woodland Scenics.. none of it is glued, it’s just draped around.
Looks just OK.. hard to get a fully covered tree look so I’m just going with the story that it represents
the track in the fall, and many of the leaves have already fallen ïŠ

The tree is mounted to a nail sticking up through the track..I drilled a nail sized hole in the base of the tree.
After I took some of these pictures I sprinkled a few fallen leaves down under the tree.. I think it looks
pretty good scale wise.. not towering, and not like a bush..
