That is nice. Cool website too. I have one similar for my H.O. set by Airfix in 1/72 scale.

Its authentic, too. I remember a sports car race track making use of a WWII airfield in England, and they used the old control tower from the airfield. It was exactly like that one. There were a lot of those tracks at one time, and I bet a lot of them used the old towers.

WM,
That's a nice looking tower you made.
I finally got started this morning. So after getting the base blocks square and building 6 rows of walls it's starting to look like a structure. Still have another 18 rows of walls to go but you can now see the start of the doorway and window openings. So far it's pretty easy to assemble as the blocks snap together similar to Legos minus the drops of glue between them.

I'm very interested in this build, and might take the plunge with a smaller, basic kit like the Hansa maintenance shed. Please keep us posted on any pitfalls or false starts so that we can learn from your hard-earned experience <g>.
Are the blocks styrene plastic? What type of glue are you using?
This is going to be a great addition to your layout!
Thanks,
Rick V.

The blocks are a styrene plastic like a model kit is made of. Peter at hansa told me any type of model glue is what he uses. I am using basic testors model glue.

Looks good. What is the footprint of the structure?
Thanks,

That is really cool!
I didn't realize that the walls were individual bricks?!?!
That is going to make for a cool build!
Look forward to more updates!
