adjustable dc power question

Want to dump my sport wall warts and get adjustable power. I need to do this in a cost effective manner.
There is a power supply on the net that looks good at about $60, but it is only 3 amps. While thats more than my 2sport analog supplies put out, is it enough feeding both lanes without the hazards associated with
1of the cars offing affecting the other car? I run scaley, carrera, ninco and revOgram. All stock
Parma 35 ohm controls and sport track average lap 38 feet.

Thanks

The wallwarts might be good for one amp each, so a single 3 amp power supply would not be much of an improvement. You did not say if the power supply was regulated, if it isn't then one car crashing will cause a surge in the other lane. You might be better off using a 90 watt laptop computer power supply, those are regulated and are good for about 5 amps.

The Dr. has the right perscription. Guess I need to go to the eye Dr. as the girst unit (5amps) is the one I looked at. For extra couple of coins, think ill go to the second one (10amp).

Thanks &Regards
