Now you have me thinking...I bet you could make scale snow fence from flat-sided toothpicks and lengths of grey thread or thin craft wire. It would be tedious detail wok, but not difficult.

Dave - it looks good!
If you want easy and cheap - here's how I did mine: cheap place mat at Walmart and a few dowel rods cut down as posts. Simply measure the height you want and cut across the mat.

Dave I may just search Wally World and see if those place mats (or similar) are available. Then some dark orange paint...........

Looking at those top photos, if Wally World has no joy, just wondering would a strip of flexible HO gauge model railroad track work?

Got my fence from Bed Bath & Beyond, was on a close table since there was only one.

Our local Wally World was no joy; I'll check places like Hobby Lobby. The flex track ties are a bit too widely spaced for my purposes. The search continues, meanwhile I can keep printing fence

The dollar stores may have those bamboo plate mats too Dave. Thats where I got mine from.
The other thing used in older style tracks and dirt cheap is burlap strips with tooth pics for posts .
looks very real too.

Try the local IKEA. I bought the 14x18 bamboo placemats there in the kitchenware section for $2 each. I believe their keyword is 'Toga'. Do a search on the Ikea site for placemats and - -bingo! Color and thread tying them together seems like a great scale fit. A real bonus is the fact that they can bend around corners and also flexible enough to go up a 30 degree slope and still keep the reeds vertical/parallel. Thank you Swedes.
