Looking good, Sarge. I have been watching your progress but I haven't had much time to say anything lately. Constant interruptions as I sell off 1:1 cars and motorcycles. I hate selling stuff. Nevertheless, I have been watching as you go. Did I miss your wife's horse farm on the layout? I am in the midst of replanning my entire track, since the old track I worked so hard to restore has old MDF that is disentegrating. I'm hoping to mimic your pit area in the photo above. Great shot, by the way. It may look a little weird, since the rest of the new track is going to be moonshine stills, beer joints and brothels around a swamp, but I want it the way I want it.

Always enjoy pictures of Peel Field. I might have to concider putting a horse paddock at Tobiano Raceway. Even though horses and race cars don't really mix that well...

I was looking at this post with my phone and didn't see the geese. My wife keeps bringing me home little farm animals from Tractor Supply for my layout. Haven't had the stones to add them. Maybe I'll reconsider that too...

Thanks for the photos of the horse farm, Sarge. This track is really looking good. Don't miss the old one at all, do you? I have ordered a bunch of old figures from toy sets and there will be a lot of horses mixed in. I hadn't really thought of a horse farm, but I may add some horses since I will have them. Maybe I can disguise some as mules- lots of them out in the deep swamp for pulling city folk out of the mud.
