20181002_094311.jpg20181002_100730.jpgBase for my portable Artin children's hospital slot car track.
I found this being thrown out during spring cleaning day locally, along with the small pool table it supported. I don't play pool.
Knocks down easily with removable wingnuts. Easily/cheaply reproducable/enlarged with dimensional 1x3 lumber. The top will be a pink Foamular sheet with 2x4's glued longitudinal underneath and tied to the corner uprights.

That old Drifter has been around the block. Bought it used in Daytona Breach and rode it all over the US after I retired. Its just been sitting since I had a stroke and a quad bypass.
Btw, did you ever find those tubs of Artin 1/32 track you used on a previous painted track? A pard of mine could use a couple of R4 curve sections.

Sorry to hear you cant ride her anymore, those are sweet bikes. Put over 80k miles on my blue one. All of the Artin track i have left is straights. And one or two random corners. Not enough to do much. I had forgot i sent a couple hundred feet of track to Chappy up in Canada. He may have some spares.

I was a member of the old yahoo Drifter group for a while. Went to the Fredricksburg, Tx "Drift-In". Even had a repro Indian boat nose side sidecar. If I could ride again, I might have some incentive to fix up BOTH my 800 Drifters....yep two of 'em.
Stay frosty.
